Xmas Giftfic Palooza 2013

It's a little bit early, but I'm opening this post for Christmas giftfic prompts! Because it turns out I'm a slave to masochistic traditions.

This is an especially dumb idea this year on my part, because I am going globe-trotting so theoretically will probably not have much time for fic-writing. But what time I will have is probably better suited to short fics, and I'm almost finished with A(r)mour, and maybe if I post now I'll manage to get at least a couple of giftfics out before Christmas? One can only hope! Though let's be realistic, I only gave up on last year's lot five months ago, fully expect that timeline to repeat itself.

I almost certainly won't be able to fill all of them, historically I tend to max out around a dozen, but then again you never know, maybe THIS will be the year I manage to keep them drabble-length! With that in mind, as usual there are also no promises of length or quality, giftfics always tend to be a bit of a mixed bag in terms of output and yeah, I've been known to get experimental with them (and experiments sometimes fail).

Okay, so rules for prompting!

Format for prompt is something like this:

A. Fandom and/or universe
B. Characters and/or pairings, if relevant (if you just give me a straight up fandom prompt I’ll choose the characters myself)
C. Some kind of prompt, e.g. 'Barret has a crippling fear of tonberries'. Max one sentence.

Fandoms are somewhat open, but obviously your odds of getting your prompt filled are higher if you stick to something I have at some point displayed knowledge of or interest in. Feel free to ask if you're not sure, or if I don't know the fandom very well I'll tell you and you can prompt something else if you want.

I think that covers it! Most of you guys already know the score I'm sure. :P

In other news, the cosplay masterlist has been updated, and Kill La Kill has turned out to be an immensely entertaining anime despite (or maybe because of) the hilariously gratuitous nudity and ludicrous setting.

C. Any major battle from the point of view of the salaryman civilian armed with nothing but a remote-controlled robotic cat and a stuffed Mog.

The little things that changed in Reeve/Cait Sith's interactions with AVALANCHE as they began accepting him as one of the team.

I just finished reading The Fifth Act and I've always been intrigued by Angeal's role in the part that got Cloud captured by Hollander and then Hojo and wondered if he was ever haunted by it. Mostly how much of it was because of his desperation caused by degradation since it was just so dishonourable the way he went about it. Or you can just ignore this, I am clearly thinking way too much about this fic.

A: FFVII - I'd prefer Fifth Act or Beloved but whatever muse hits you is fine with me. It's all awesome.

Cloud gets stuck in a time loop with ___. It wouldn't be so bad if ___ didn't have so much fun with it. I'd be fine with any or all of the Firsts in a no consequence scenario. :) Bonus if the get out of loop requirement is something corny/unexpected like getting Cloud to smile because the goddess thinks it's adorable.

I've been reading all of your FFVII fics, and I just fell in love with them!! Especially Beloved... So, would it be okay if I also left a prompt? It would be something like

C.Cloud's friends realize how close they'd been from completely losing Cloud. (I just wanted to see how they would react once they realized that.)

I've been rather shamelessly lurking, but in my defense, I only happened on your writing about two months ago. Not much of a defense, but hey. Either way, this one's been chasing me around since I read The Fifth Act....

C. Something comes up where Cloud's heritage has to come out into the open (i.e., something happens where Rufus needs a bone marrow transplant or something, and the president and Lazard both are non-matches, or anything else where genetic similarity is highly relevant).
