Author’s Note: This is born out of a really really old Fierce Deity lore idea I played with back in Majora’s Mask days and never did anything with, but have now hamfisted it into Jojo's Linked Universe mostly because I wanted to see if I could.

Title: Clearing the Air

Summary: Linked Universe, one-shot. Time and Legend are separated from the others and caught in a blizzard. This finally gives them the chance to discuss the question of timelines between them, and neither of them are happy about it.

Author’s Note: Big fat mess of a fic I’m posting just to have it out of my head. Plays incorrectly with the likely actual canon details of the start of the Fallen timeline, mysterious as they are, but the thought occurred when I was thinking about how it all could have happened, and how Legend would feel about that version.

And it’s winter here so I wrote a platonic blanket scenario as the background setting whoops.

Feels like the characterisation and pacing both got a little slippery at some point too so sorry about that. In retrospect I wish I’d flipped the POV but that realisation was 10k words too late. Really needs a lot more editing but eh hope someone enjoys it.

Author’s Note: Linked Universe has just completely taken over Zelda fandom and I've been swept up in it too, and considering Ocarina of Time was probably the genesis of my lifelong obsession with time travel as a trope, I wound up just spitting this thing out. I've kind of wanted to write some time travel from a point of view outside the time traveller for a while and just kinda vomited out something that almost became a character study instead. All this instead of the longfic I actually intended to finish...

Author’s Note: The end of the fic! It could really use a lot more polish, I think I got a bit lost in the woods with this fic (not helped by a lengthy hiatus) but at least it's done. Will do better on the next fic or something. I write a lot of duds and sometimes I sleep walk into posting them. But hope someone enjoyed it regardless. I want to write more Unsynced before the remake comes out and buries Crisis Core forever...

Author’s Note: Despite my best intentions, I fell off the map. Part of that is because FF14's expansion was just so heckin good (expect some shortfic of that at some point) but also almost the instant that was done real life underwent some unpleasant upheaval, so it's been hard to find time and headspace to write, and will probably remain so for some time. :( But as proof of life, here's a little meta-esque one-shot I wrote for Steven Universe at the end of the latest season. I wasn't going to post it, but the movie trailer made it seem like we'll never get this scene and I really really need it hahaha. I hope you enjoy it. Rest assured I am still working on finishing A Matter of War and Unsynced, just tragically stalled.

No chapter this weekend, sorry! I'm a little bummed that I didn't manage to hit the final weekend of the year, but I feel pretty good about doing my 2018 resolution to attempt to post something once a week justice. I missed a few weekends to external factors but I didn't miss any weekends without a super good excuse! Which I'm super happy about.

That said, I'm not going to attempt to keep that up in 2019 - mostly because there's a lot of other creative projects I want to work on in my own time. I will still post things occasionally - I want to attempt to finish all the WIPs eventually at the very least, and no doubt there will be one or two bunnies that pop up and compel me occasionally, and I don't want to totally fall off the map again like I did for a solid couple of years there - but I'm dropping the schedule since it's going to clash with my 2019 resolutions, and it also meant I posted a lot of stuff that I felt was unpolished and unhappy with.

Thanks to those who tagged along for my 2018 fic-writing adventures. To any lurkers who don't have Dreamwidth for the easy update notifs, rest assured I will eventually, at some point, get around to posting most things to Ao3.
