The Fifth Act: Expanded Universe

I’ve been meaning to make this post for a while, no time like the present.

Despite having not touched anything related to the fic for some time, The Fifth Act seems to have been doing quite well without my input and has even kind of developed expanded universe, which is awesome. I try and post links when other people do things, but that's dependent almost entirely on whatever my LJ posting habits are that month.  Figured it was about time to collate all the relevant links into one post!

I would actually recommend the FF.net version to people now, as it had two extended scenes (one regarding Yuffie and the other Lazard), and many other changes, mostly fixing typos and consistency errors.

On the Way Back From The Goblin Bar
Christmas oneshot for silvershadowkit. A bit slashy.  Cloud and Sephiroth drag a drunk Zack and Genesis home.  Zack speculates.  Loudly.

Jealousy
Christmas oneshot for firedraygon97 .  Genesis is possessive over his saviour.  Genesis and Cloud centric.

Secret Admirer
Christmas oneshot for searisme.  Genesis/Cloud.  Cloud was almost certain he was being stalked.

It Works In the Movies
Kunsel/Cloud.  This was the result of a mis-read prompt from swyrel.  It was set in the Fifth Act verse because I had no idea of how else it could happen.  Kunsel hides Cloud from Sephiroth.

For Fallen Comrades
Another Fifth Act AU - a 'what if', the what if being 'what if Cloud had gone back even further in time?'.  This was a Christmas drabble fill for firedraygon97  that I stretched the interpretation of a bit.

Christmas oneshot for signrain.  Cloud has jumped to a new timeline but still can't avoid cross-dressing.

Christmas oneshot for firedraygon97. The Gold Saucer is holding a grand prix style chocobo race, and Cloud has a need for speed.

Humorous one-shot by teekoness , featuring Zack and Vincent, set between Chapter 35 and 36 of The Fifth Act.  In which Vincent attempts to perform his very solemn duty. Unfortunately for him, it's not going as well as he hoped.

The Show Must Go On
AU sequel by J.Finch. Summary: Though the Fifth Act has come to a close, there is always another story just waiting to be told upon that bright and shining stage. Villains, old and new still lurk in the shadows, for a hero's work is never done, and the show must go on.

After the 5th Act
Multi-part sequel by Eriol-sama (aka gackt_gratia ).  A collection of stories meant to be picked up straight after the epilogue.  Starts out fairly gen, gets slashier later on.  Beta'd by WintersHeart1766.

There are very few FF7 fanfictions that I bother reading, but holy crap. The Fifth Act was amazing. I think in the three years I've been in the fandom I've found maybe...four fics that I go back and reread. This one will definitely be the fifth xD.
