What are you talking about? We found out how Sephiroth would end Loveless. The Goddess would die. That was his scenario. He just sucks at Lit studies, and considered Jenova to be the Goddess. Though technically, once upon a time he slew Aeris as well, so he's got all sorts of interpretations covered.
