So many things I love about this chapter, I don't even know where to start, amg. Well, besides again loving having found this fic after its completion instead of keeping up as it's posted because cliffhangers are evil |D;
Forever loving the action scenes. <3 They're well paced as the previous ones were, and the urgency of trying to stop Cloud is well-conveyed. I love that Aerith was briefly able to break through to Cloud and help nudge him out of his destructive path, too.
Jenova's line of getting into Cloud's head makes me wonder what courses she took for Sephiroth in the original timeline - probably picking at having lost his two closest friends and saying something along the lines of "I may not be human, but I'm better than that and so are you." I mean, we can't know for sure how she did since I don't think we'll ever get that piece of canon, and God knows there are a multitude of ideas, but it is something to think about at any rate. x3 /rambling
Aiyiyi, one more chapter to go on a reread and then my reading queue gets to be tackled! Hopefully. Well, I'll need something to keep me sane during the semester. :V
