I haven't posted for a long long time, sorry about that. I am still writing and whatnot I just haven't written anything I've felt is worth posting for a long time, unless you guys want to read a bunch of potentially forever unfinished WIPs.

Who cares about that, though? I have revived from the dead purely to gush PURE UNMITIGATED JOY in all directions thanks to E3.

FF7 REMAKE GUYS. IT'S REAL.

I am so mixed up about it. On one hand, I am so worried they'll mess it up, because the task of making that entire game in HD is so enormous and expensive and while I wouldn't mind if they tweaked a few of the dated controls and whatnot I also don't want them to change a single thing and wow. Just wow. Still not convinced it's a very late, very expensive April Fool's Joke.

And if that wasn't enough, we have a release window and more gameplay footage of the The Last Guardian, which I had been thoroughly convinced was vaporware and had totally given up on.

Of course, this seems like a timely occasion to relink this comic.

Oh yeah and Shenmue 3 is also pretty cool I guess, I just don't have any leftover feelings after FF7 AND THE LAST GUARDIAN HOLY CRAP GUYS, THE GAMING GOOD TIMES NEVER END.

I and all my FFVII tumblr friends have been massively fangirling like you have no idea man. I'm p sure 75% of my non-queued posts have been FFVII (other parts consisting of Steven Universe and a couple social justice thingys ehehe) Best day early birthday present I ever got tbqh~ And sorely needed after a rough day at work. I was getting pretty excited but ... I notice we didn't get a date. Not even a year. It just has to be before a PS5 is made and they won't even be liars.
Expect it in, say, 4 years I reckon. :(

(And I agree, the crossdressing scene is possibly the thing I want to see the very most in HD!}

edited to say your unfinished WIPs are probably much higher quality than other fics I've come across, so yessssss please. Even if it's just a folder where you throw the fragments in on ff.net.

It's pass 2 am. here but I still couldn't sleep because of the news! Not only crossdress scene in HD but yeah, I really wanna see Cloud almost made out with Don and He got skinny dip with all the beefy hunks in honeybee, must be hilarious. I literally screamed. I can't even.

And my thought immediately went to the cross-dressing scene as well.
I'm worried about a few things (they had better leave it turn-based because that's part of what made it so GOOD) but overall, I'm sure it's going to be hilarious and amazing and now that I know it's coming, I will wait out the Apocalypse if that's what it takes.

Oh for sure. A lot of people are speculating a 2017 release date to coincide with the 20th anniversary, that sounds the most plausible but I wouldn't be surprised if they even overshoot that. Definitely not 2016 in any case... although one would hope they've learned not to announce titles too prematurely after FFXV and KH3.

I don't have a PS4 but I'll be buying one once this comes out. Almost wanting to place bets on a limited edition console release to go with it.

You may have heard by now but Nomura, when interviewed, hinted that he'll change some things since FFVII is being ported to the PS4... Hopefully good changes, as in additions rather than removing content?

They have finished the script for the first party of the remake. Maybe we will see that episode in 2017 for the anniversary.

How do you feel about then changing the battle system? The KH team is helping with the remake and Nomura has stated that it will be a new action type system.

And the crossdressing scene among others has been guaranteed in the remake!

Also, you should consider posting your wip stories on ffnet. Unfinished stories are pretty common on there. Fans would be able to read them if interested and it wouldn't clutter your live journal.
