Actually, what I like so much about the series (aside from the characters, plot, wit, etc.) IS the portrayal of acting.

There are a lot of different acting methods, after all, but Kyouko's is very close to the Meisner method, which I have experience with. This sounds silly, but I look up to her as a role model in the acting field.

Which parts seemed off to you? I hadn't thought about it.
