OH MY GOSH I LOVED IT. (I kind of secretly thought it was PERFECT. He was never really portrayed as the typical "old man with the epic brain", he was the young-ish man with the epic brain and drug habits who uses both to solve crime. They were perfectly true to that. They also added in his little fighting problem. [THAT WAS TRUE TOO. He was constantly getting into fights...])

And Mme sinnatious? I agree entirely. There was SO much homoerotic subtext in that movie... (And thank you for the amazing slash-goggle-able-ness!)
